About Rankticker

Rankticker is a backlink marketplace and managed service for buying placements on real publications. We built it because buying links had become a matter of trust with nothing to check.

Why it exists

If you've bought links before, you know how it usually goes. A seller sends a spreadsheet of domains with a DR column and a price column. Half the sites have no readers. Some belong to the same owner and share a theme, a footer and a list of casino advertisers. The price for the same site changes depending on who you ask. Once you've paid, you get a URL in an email, and if the link disappears in March nobody tells you.

None of that is a secret in SEO. It's just how the trade has worked. Agencies built their own vetting sheets and in-house teams kept lists of sellers they'd stopped using, because there was no other way to protect a budget.

Rankticker is our attempt at the obvious fix. Put the publication, its numbers and its price on the screen before you buy. Show what happens to the order while it's being written. Keep checking the link after it goes live.

This isn't clever engineering. Most of the bad outcomes in link buying come from not being able to see something: a traffic graph that fell off a cliff after a core update, an outbound link profile that is mostly payday loans, an article quietly edited to drop your anchor six months later. Most of those can be caught. They just weren't being shown to the person paying.

What we stand for

Show the work

Every listing shows DR, DA, TF:CF, organic traffic, spam score and a price per format. The profile shows the risk flags we found, including the ones that don't help us sell.

Real publishers

We vet sites before they're listed and keep out link farms and networks. Publishers set their own prices and can turn down requests that don't fit their readers.

Proof after purchase

Each order has a timeline, the draft is visible and open to comments, and the live link tracker checks the page, anchor, target and attribute long after delivery.

We're also plain about what links can and can't do. Google's spam policies treat links bought to manipulate rankings as link spam and ask for paid links to be marked rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow". We don't promise rankings and we don't call our links undetectable. We think a placement on a relevant, well-read publication earns its cost through readers, relevance and, more and more, citations in AI answers. Read more in paid links and Google's spam policies and on AI visibility.

Where we are now

Rankticker is in early access in 2026. The marketplace, publisher profiles, ordering, content review, order tracking, link monitoring, campaigns, and SEO and AI visibility tracking all work today, and you can see them on the product page. We're still adding publishers and refining the product with the people using it.

Early access means you'll find rough edges. Tell us about them. If a listing looks wrong, or a metric doesn't match your own tools, we'd rather hear it from you than find it later. Write to us at hello@rankticker.com.

We won't publish customer counts, logos or case studies until we have real ones we're allowed to share.

If you run a publication, the publisher side is open too.
