Shortlist publications for a project
Save publications to one or more projects with the bookmark button, review them on the project's Shortlist tab with your team, and order from there.
A shortlist is a list of publications you've saved for one project. Use it to collect options while you browse, agree a plan with a colleague or client, and order later without searching again.
Save a publication
Find the bookmark button. It's on every row in the marketplace list, on every publisher card, and in the header of a publisher's page, where it's labelled Save.
Click it. Save to shortlist opens with a list of your projects.
Tick each project you want to save the publication for. Each tick is saved straight away; untick to take it off that project's shortlist. With many projects, type in Search projects… to find one.
Click Done.
A filled-in bookmark means the publication is on at least one shortlist. Hover over it to see how many, or look for Saved · 2 on the publisher's page.
Shortlists belong to projects, so you need at least one project first. If you have none, Rankticker opens Add project. Archived projects aren't listed.
See a project's shortlist
Open the project and click the Shortlist tab. The number on the tab is how many publications are saved.
The shortlist uses the same list as the marketplace, with the same columns: DR, TF, traffic, category, country, language, article types and price. Click a row to expand the details, and click Open full metrics page → for the publisher's page. Tick Compare to compare two to four of them side by side.
Long shortlists are split into pages. Choose 10, 25 or 50 under Rows per page. Find more takes you back to the marketplace.
Order from the shortlist
On the Shortlist tab, pick a format in the row's details if you want a specific one.
Click Add. The placement goes into your cart with this project already chosen, and the button changes to In cart.
Check out as usual. See Fill in the brief.
Ordering doesn't take a publication off the shortlist, so you can order from it again later.
Remove a publication
On the Shortlist tab, click the filled-in bookmark on the row. It comes off this project's shortlist only. To change several projects at once, click the bookmark in the marketplace and untick the projects in Save to shortlist.
Who can see and change a shortlist
Shortlists are shared with everyone in your workspace, and anyone in it can save and remove publications. See Team roles.
Deleting a project also deletes its shortlist. Archiving keeps it. See Archive or delete a project.
